INJURIES

Minnesota Support Groups - Traumatic Brain Injury

A traumatic brain injury (TBI) can result from any number of different accidents or traumas. The one thing all individuals suffering from TBI need is support. Fortunately, help is available in Minnesota in the way of support groups.

Conducted by people with experience in dealing with traumatic brain injury, these support groups in Minnesota offer assistance to the patient, their family and caregivers.

The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota makes referrals to support groups throughout the state, including for persons with brain injury, their families and friends and for young persons.

Because support group locations and times change, please call the Association for a current support group location.

For meeting time, location, and a contact person for a specific support group, call the Association at 612-378-2742 or 1-800-669-6442 in greater Minnesota.

Groups are self-help, self-supporting, and independent from the Association.
