Missouri does not currently have a Federal TBI Program State Grant, but reports the following progress: 1. Conducted a comprehensive statewide needs assessment for further statewide service delivery systems planning. 2. Developed and initiated a method to evaluate the effectiveness of a systematic process for early referral of persons with traumatic brain injury to the right entry point with a focus on community-based services.
Missouri is working to complete the evaluation of the effectiveness of a systematic process for early referral into community-based services. Other priorities include rebuilding the Missouri Head Injury Advisory Council membership and engaging the council and other stakeholders in a process to develop a statewide action plan.
