Arkansas's lead agency in the Federal TBI Program is the Department of Health and Human Services.

3. Previously conducted a statewide Needs and Resources Assessment and created a TBI State Action Plan.

Key activities will include creating an infrastructure for the development and sharing of resources; increasing communication and awareness of TBI-related issues and resources; recommending legislative and organizational policy changes; conducting cross disciplinary education among providers, and sustaining funding for TBI-related activities.
