Wyoming has received $75,000 in Federal TBI Planning grants. The State has matched the Federal grants with approximately $39,988.

The grant objectives for Wyoming are:
1. Establish an active TBI Statewide Advisory
Board that represents all stakeholders in the
TBI services system, and is reflective and
responsive to the various communities it
serves.
2. Have a single Lead Agency for the State that
acts as the coordinating agency for statewide
planning and the development of a
comprehensive TBI services system.
3. Conduct a comprehensive Needs and
Resources assessment of the needs of
individuals with TBI; identify the gaps in
service provision, and the resources available
to meet the identified needs with a strategy for
coordinating a statewide tracking and
surveillance system.
4. Develop a sustainable TBI State Action Plan
that addresses all components of a
comprehensive system, including prevention,
acute care/treatment, long-term services,
community re-entry, and advocacy.
